REFRACTIONS sculptural mirrors marks the beginning of a new line within Buyink’s work, exploring reflection, perception and transformation.
The first chapter introduces a series of one-of-a-kind sculptural mirrors, where form, light and reflection come together to create works that continuously shift with their surroundings and the viewer’s perspective.
Born from a period of personal change, REFRACTIONS reflects the idea that neither art nor self-image is ever fixed.
The sculptural mirrors are only the beginning, with the REFRACTIONS line continuing to evolve through new forms and expressions.
